Emily has been drawing faces since she was a tiny child. A self-taught artist, she progressed from walls (her parents had to resort to paneling to cover her masterpieces) to paper, and has since done everything from signs to murals to pastel portraits of both people and animals. Then one day she discovered caricature.
Since 1996, Emily has caricatured thousands of delighted people at fairs, parties, and corporate events. She captures a lighthearted likeness of her subjects, and averages 8-10 people per hour in color, and 12-14 in black and white. She can also provide pre-drawn bodies to suit the event. Her drawings make mementos that will be treasured for years!
From her studio, Emily creates custom caricatures from photos, which make out-of-the-ordinary gifts. Her next career move is to eventually to expand into published caricatures and book illustration, in addition to drawing the endless variety of live faces.
