Joy Bartel has been doing caricature art for the past several years. She started working at Six Flags Darien Lake in Western New York for Kaman’s Art Shoppe’s when she was a junior in high school. She also spent 6 months working as a caricature artist down At Busch Gardens Africa in Tampa Bay, FL. In Addition to caricatures Joy also loves to do face painting, henna tattoos, hair wraps, and has even been known to occasionally do airbrush. She has been doing caricatures in and around the city of Buffalo, NY since she branched out on her own and started her own caricature venture. She has drawn at Penn State Behrend Campus in Erie, PA and SUNY at Delhi in the eastern part of New York. Joy considers Buffalo, Batavia, and Rochester, NY to be her home base. Joy also teaches a class on caricature in her spare time.

Serves:

Western New York including: Buffalo, Rochester, Grand Island, Batavia, Williamsville, Amherst, and Clarence, NY.   Will travel.

Speeds:

  • b&w heads only: 13/hour
  • b&w body/gag: 10/hour
  • color heads only: 10/hour
  • color body/gag: 7/hour

Rate:

$150/hour with a two hour minimum.
