Theresa Bayer is a full time artist who has been doing caricatures in the Austin Texas area since 1992. She has drawn caricatures for all kinds of events including major corporations, small businesses, churches, charities, schools, and private parties.

Here are some of the things she enjoys most about doing caricatures: Getting several glimpses of a baby's face, and managing to get a likeness from those few glimpses. Drawing with a halfway dried marker and getting interesting grays. Showing art fundamentals to kids who are watching her draw. Watching someone's face light up when they see their caricature. Seeing the same clients year after year, and recognizing how their kids have grown. She loves it when they tell her they've collected and framed her work.

Theresa also does illustration and sculpture and has done caricature business cards for Alamo Title Company and for other businesses. She has also done text book illustrations for Voyager Expanded Learning of Dallas Texas, and is a member of the Texas Society of Sculptors.
