Ken Crouse - Caricature Artist - Denver, CO

Ken majored in Advertising Design at the University of Illinois, College of Fine and Applied Arts, graduating in 1963.  Entering the Army as an illustrator for the Visual Aids Branch in the Infantry School Brigade in Fort Benning, Ga., Ken was later reassigned to Ft. Shafter, Hawaii as an illustrator for Military Intelligence.  Following his military service Ken moved to St. Louis, Missouri to begin his professional career in advertising art. Ken accepted a position in 1967 as Creative Art Director with Graphic Selling, in Denver, Colorado.

Ken started his own business in graphic art reproduction in 1977 as a pen and ink quick sketch artist at Heritage Square and Dillards.  Other engagements soon followed and Ken became known as a "kind and gentle" Caricature Artist.  His color portraits, charcoals and quick sketch portraits became a specialty and as Ken refined his craft through the years as  his popularity grew. 

Ken provided Caricatures for Don Johnson, his family and his guests at Dons  4th of July Extravaganzas at Dons home in Aspen, Colorado for 4 years and has an open invitation for Dons parties in the future.)

Ken won the Prestigious "Best Color" award at the annual National Caricaturist Convention held in San Antonio, Texas. He was a regular guest artist on TV 2 Blinky's Fun Club and is often a special guest instructor at local schools and colleges.
