Dorit R - Caricature Artist - Texas
Dorit was born in Montreal, Canada, but now lives in Dallas, TX. She started drawing in pencil at age 3 and did her first portrait(her grandfather) in ballpoint at age 7 and found her passion - the human face. Dorit studied graphic art in college and later worked in many hotel lobbies, including the Gaylord Texan, as a portrait sketch artist. She's used pencil in the past, but now works in Tombo Markers and fine point pens. Her default color is dark sepia, which is softer than outright black. She's accurately and lovingly sketched three month old babies up to seniors into their 80s. When Dorit is not doing portraits she can be found at home painting illustrations on the computer for ad agencies, books, and magazines for clients all over the country.

$150/hour with a 2 hour minimum.
