Steven Duquette - Studio Caricature Artist

For almost 3 score years, I have found myself pushing a Venus 2B making funny pictures and in some of those years I was actually getting  paid to do it.

In my mid twenties I left L.A. and came to N.Y.C. to sell cartoons to all the magazines, and I did.  I ventured  into the promotional world doing cartoon illustration for different ad campaigns.

  I did educational slide films in the publishing field and in the later part of my career got a taste of doing party caricaturing.  I became impatient with drawing moving heads and switched to drawing from photos.  Photos don¹t move and they don¹t talk back.  I¹ll continue doing this until my Venus 2Bs are all used up.  Excelsior!
