Jessica Fink - Caricature Artist - Albany, NY

Jessica Fink has been drawing cartoons since before she learned to crawl. Her love for caricature began in high school when her art teacher suggested that her passions would work well with caricatures. The suggestion stuck and she has been drawing them ever since, which equals over 6 years of experience.In 2003, Jess Graduated from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, one of the premier cartooning schools in the country, with a Bachelors Degree in Cartooning/Illustration.

Her caricature have been seen at private parties, carnivals and local events all over Long Island and the Albany area. Ms. Fink has even been a featured entertainer at the City of Albany's first night New Years eve celebration.

During her time in the Albany area she has had the opportunity to create many caricatures for celebrities and local newspaper writers. Along with being a professional caricaturist, Jess is also a formally trained Illustrator making illustrations for The New York Times, The Detroit News and many other papers and magazines across the country.

Jess' T-shirt designs have also been featured online at the web site, Threadless.com. Her comic book work is published by Fantagraphics books and has been mentioned and several times in Time Magazine.

Jessica currently lives in Troy, NY, a region often called "Upstate New York" and can often be found, when not drawing of course, spending time with her boyfriend and cat.
