Karen Fulk received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in 1965 from the University of California, Davis Campus. During her time in school she studied under the now famous artists, Wayne Thiebaud, Robert Arneson, and many others.
Their influences on her are mainly from the Pop and Funk Era, where satire and humour in the commonplace can be seen in her work. She has also taken classes and workshops from Susan Sarback(Chroma School of Light and Color) and from well-known sculptor, Miriam Davis. She has shown her work in the Sacramento, CA. area for the past 40 years, and during the 1990’s was represented by the Michael Himovitz Gallery and Gallery W.
