Walt Kaye has been drawing cartoons and caricatures since he was in Latimer Jr. High School in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1950. He served in the US Navy and Air Force, working as an illustrator. |

He attended the University of Dayton and the Dayton Art Institute, studying Advertising Design. In 1962, he began working as a graphic designer at NCR. Walt retired from NCR in 1994 as a manager of their computer graphic department. After retirement he became a full time caricature artist. In 1960 Walt married Kay Squires, who then became Kay Kaye. |

They have three grown daughters, Colette, Karen, and Marcella. In 1991 Walt had a life saving liver transplant, so he is very active in organizations promoting organ donation. He draws many crowds at health fairs, hospitals, churches and schools. |
