Matheu has been drawing people most of his life, but loves drawing live caricatures the best. His chosen career path has always been art. Starting in junior high school he began entering local art contests and once in high school he joined the art club. It only seemed natural to go to an art school to go to college and he graduated with his degree in Applied Art in 1993. Since then has been working in one form or another in the art field. For Matheu drawing individuals for fun is always the most exciting and he's glad that he has the opportunity to draw caricatures of individuals on a regular basis.
