Jed Mickle - Caricature Artist - Lynchburg, VA

Jed Mickle had his humble beginnings as an artist at age two, drawing Sesame Street characters on a chalkboard in the family kitchen. As a budding artist, he benefited greatly from the instruction of his father, Steven Mickle, a nationally renowned portrait artist, and his cousin, Franz Mickle, who gave him a good handle on drawing the human figure and taught him how to draw a mean superhero.

He is the illustrator of three books from the Who In The World? series published by Peace Hill Press and has been working as a caricature artist since Kyle Edgell introduced him to the field in 2004.
