| Al Rodriguez has been a professional caricaturist for nearly 20 years. He started his caricature career at Busch Gardens, The Dark Continent in Tampa, Florida. After a couple of years of developing his style there, he moved on to drawing at parties and special events. |

Al also ranked in the top ten nationally and was nominated for Best Profile Caricaturist at the '95 NCN Convention. He was voted third nationally for Best Profile Caricaturist and Best Use of Black & White, and ranked in the top ten by Artists' Choice for Overall Work at the '99 NCN competition. Also known for his wonderful use of humorous gags when he draws the bodies according to the person's hobby, sport, pastime or bad habits; he gave a lecture to the members of the NCN on this subject at their '99 convention. |
