(This isn't really Ray. I just thought this might embarrass him into sending us a real caricature of himself)!
Ray Russotto was born in Brooklyn but was moved, along with the rest of his family's belongings, to South Florida at the age of four. As a grade-schooler he earned pocket money drawing funny pictures of his teachers and classmates.

After graduating from FAU with a B. A. in English, there was a brief stint playing bass guitar in his brother's rock band before settling on the relatively "secure" occupation of freelance cartoonist. |
Ray has contributed to a number of publications in his twenty plus years as a cartoonist/illustrator. Among them are the Sun-Sentinel, Miami Herald, Boca Raton Magazine, Jazziz, New Times and Mutual Funds Magazine. In addition to studio work he also stays busy doing caricatures at special events. |

Currently, Mr. Russotto has a permanent part-time gig as the editorial cartoonist of the Boca Raton News. He lives in Deerfield Beach with his wife Carol (a graphic designer and piano teacher) and their two sons, Rick and William. |
