Sedat was born in the exotic resort city of Antalya, Turkey and much of his art is based on the Mediterranean influences of the region. A few of the jobs that he did before attending the Hamburg Academy of Visual Arts included penciling and inking comics for Ceylan Publishers at the age of eight and at age fifteen he was working as a comic strip artist for numerous popular magazines in Istanbul, Turkey.

Sedat was able to complete a five-year degree in three years. Upon graduation he worked as an art instructor for a year while, as a cover artist for the Stella Duval Publishing Group, and created comics for the Italian Spaghetti Westerns of the '60's.

Upon returning to his homeland from Hamburg, Sed continued his work as a poster and comic book artist and it was during this time that his exotic Mediterranean paintings started gaining attention and were displayed in major galleries in Turkey, The Ukraine, and Russia. While continuing to develop his artistic talent, Sedat embraced other opportunities including playing soccer as one of the youngest professional players in the country and working as a D.J. and Showman for U.S. affiliated Turkish radio stations.

Now Sedat resides in Tampa, FL. His recent commissions include Trompe L'oeil decorative mural art for several hotel renovations in Naples and Orlando Resorts along with residential homes in Palm Beach and Orlando areas. Sedat also believes in giving back to the community and he often donates large murals to schools and organizations.
