Oops! the Clown

Oops has been doing children's shows for 25 years, early on mostly doing big stage shows for 300-500 children which included puppets, skits, object lessons, song leading, and such. He has been a professional clown and entertainer for over 10 years. Oops' mother in-law is a clown(most mother in laws are, but his really is) and upon seeing him playing with her grandchildren, pronounced that he was funnier than any clown she had worked with!

Thus started the children's entertainer phase of Opps' life. He has five children of his own ranging in age from 6 to 15. His youngest child has Downs Syndrom and Oops volunteers and works with special needs children on a regular basis. Oops is prepared to entertain and perform for you and your children.

Serves: Maryland Metro area, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia Metro, as well as surrounding areas. Will travel.

Skills: Comedy magic shows, walkaround pocket magic, walkaround silliness, easy and advanced balloon sculpting, face painting, game coordinating, and a little bit of puppet work.

Rates: 

  • Strolling:  $150/hour with a two hour minimum or $260 for one hour. Includes: pocket magic, silliness with props, interactive greeting with children (ie. shake their hands off, rapid fire verbal interaction with a constant flow of humor)
  • Birthday Parties:  $260 for a one hour show. A comedy magic show which is equally magical and equally comical. Oops can then twist balloons, face paint, and lead games (Oops owns a parachute!)
