Since 1999, Rasa has been studying the art of Morocco and Egypt's Arabic, tribal and cabaret belly dance with many talented and well-known teachers. Some of her teachers include Philipe of Ultra Gypsy, Malia and New Moon Bellydance, Kristina of Ultra Gypsy, Suhalia Salimpour, Nanna, and Fat Chance Bellydance. Rasa performs on a regular basis as a solo act and also performs with the troupe Azure at San Franciscos infamous restaurant, Kan Zaman, as well as troupe Les Gazelles at World Dance. |

Since the year 2000, Rasa has performed bellydance for many festivals including the SF Carnaval, Castro Street Fair, How Weird Festival, Dios de Portugual, Love Parade, Folsom Street Fair, and The Half Moon Bay Flower Festival. She has danced at several San Francisco venues such as Marrakech, Pasha, Casablanca Cafe, Zagora, and the Excelsior Club for private and public events. |

Highlights of her career include having her own bellydance show in Las Vegas at the Stratopshere's Hookah Lounge for 5 months in 2005. Rasa performs in Rakkasah West, the largest bellydance festival in the world.
Rasa is available to perform for all kinds of private, public, and corporate parties and events.

Area of Availability: San Francisco, Oakland, Redwood City, Mountain View, San Jose, Sacremento, and Napa, CA areas. Will travel!
Requirements:
- Large enough space to dance in.
- A private dressing room.
- Some form of sound system in order to play CD on.
- No Candles please - Veils can burn very easily.
- Please make sure the are is well heated.
Each show is about 20-30 minutes long, depending on client's needs and can include audience participation if desired. Instruction is possible.
Show Rates:
$140 for the the show. 10 minutes of instruction can be added for only $40.
