Ginny is passionate about face painting! Although majoring in Biology in college and working as a Life Science Teacher for years, Ginny now draws inspiration for her painting from the beauty she has studied in the natural world. Whether painting dramatic full faces or delicate cheek art, her work captures the details of animals, insects, birds and flowers. And as a teacher, Ginny can’t help sharing some fascinating natural history facts about the designs she is painting!

She is one of only 5 painters in the US carrying a current international face painting certificate given to those who hold the highest standards of professionalism and hygiene. She has won numerous awards in painting competitions and has been featured in several magazines.

As a mother of five, she loves children and takes joy in helping each one put a “face” on their imaginations! She specializes in supporting theme parties with her paintings – be it superheroes, pirates or princesses - and also enjoys holiday designs for all seasons. She has a large repertoire of designs and depending on the detail, can paint about 15 faces per hour.

Ginny has been painting faces in the Charlottesville, VA area since 2007. She is in high demand by Moms everywhere looking to add WOW to that special birthday party, but she also paints faces for the UVA, VCU and the University of Richmond as well as for the local libraries, preschools, fitness clubs, and numerous businesses and corporations. She has been hired by Royal Caribbean Cruise lines and has painted on their newest cruise ships. She has been a regular at the Juried Crozet Arts and Crafts Festival and was also asked to paint at the Universoul circus this year. She has been come known as someone who can always draw and entertain a crowd!
