California Face Painter Jamie G
Jamie attended Cal State Fullerton in Orange County, California, where she studied illustration and graphic design. During college she worked as a Fine Art Instructor at KidsArt private art studios, where she enjoyed teaching kids ages 3 through 18 years old in drawing, painting and sculpting.
Upon moving to Huntington Beach Jamie began working as a facepainter at the Disneyland Resort for contracting company Kaman's Art Shoppes. At Kaman's she was promoted to Supervisor of Facepainting and Body Art within Disneyland. She trained and managed a team of about 30 face painters inside Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney and Disneyland.
Besides dedicating lots of time to face painting, Jamie is always involved in various art projects. Throughout the year Jamie teaches a theater makeup arts after school program. She also participates in many Los Angeles Art Shows, performing live face and body painting. Jamie also enjoys working as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. |
