Face Painter - Jenny M

Jenny has been face painting since 2001, and gained qualifications at Truro College in 2003, in media make up including beauty, corrective, stage, and special effects make up, health and safety and data protection.

Jenny worked at SouthWest Film Studios, then having had a love for special effects make up since childhood, trained with a very talented local special effects company based in St Just, Steve Hollins of GrotesqueFX, specialising in creating masks, unique bespoke costume and stiltwalking costume for projects including film, festival, and horror.

Further to this Jenny has worked on many projects for Amateur Dramatic Society productions, including principal characters, such as Dame, Evil Witch, Dog, King Rat, The Grinch, Vampires and many others, some of these requiring custom prosthetics made to order and created from original mould and sculpt, to application make up, and removal.

In 2008, Jenny trained in Bristol with international face and body painting artist and masterpainter Mark Reid from the US. She also takes a special interest in Gestational body painting capturing a special time for expectant mothers with unique designs specially created from your own ideas and inspiration.

Rates: $110/hr with a 2 hour minimum.

Simple Designs: 8-10/hr
Full Face Designs: 8/hr depending on complexity
