Sophia Adenwala - Henna Tattoo Artist

Well renowned henna artist Sofia Adenwala brings the traditional Indian body-painting art of Mehndi to people of all ages and cultures. She uses henna paste, made from the dried, powdered leaves of the henna plant, to create intricate ethnic or contemporary designs on the body. Henna art has long played a significant part of wedding rituals across many cultures, and now Sofia is making it a fashion statement for birthday parties, schools, corporate events, and wedding and bridal showers.

The samples below are representative of the simple designs Sophia can do at larger events.

Serves: Philadelphia and Delaware County, PA and surrounding parts of Pennsylvania. Will travel!

Rate: $150/hour per artist with a 2 hour minimum.

Speed: 4-10 tattoos per hour, depending on design size and complexity.
