Angie Firmalino - Henna Tattoo Artist

After graduating from Syracuse University with a BFA in metal smithing in 1994, Angie Firmalino went on to study art history and jewelry studio work, in Florence, Italy. In addition to her BFA she also received an Associates Degree in Jewelry Studio and Design in 1996 from F.I.T in New York City, NY.

Her career as a jeweler has included working as a bench jeweler for Gemstar Jewelers in New York City and as a goldsmith for Steven Kretchmer Design. While also doing henna tattoos, Angie is currently working as a freelance wax model maker, and is also developing her own line of jewelry.

She has spent most of her life trying any and all mediums of art that she could get a hold of, from airbrushing at an amusement park to mosaic tile work on floors and walls. Angie discovered the art of henna at a henna party in Ithaca, NY and was instantly hooked. Henna is her current love and obsession and occupies most of her free time! Angie currently lives in New York State with her husband and three beautiful children.

Serves: Greene and Ulster counties, and surrounding areas within a 60 mile radius of Tannersville, NY. Will travel!

Rate: $150/hour with a two hour minimum.

Speed: approximately 7-10 tattoos an hour depending on complexity.

Our henna artists will not use black henna at your event.
