Kristina Haberek - Henna Tattoo Artist

Kristina Haberek has a BA in Studio Art from Cleveland State University and has been practicing henna art since 1998. She became a professional henna artist in 2003 and has since educated herself in the history and traditions of this ancient art form. Kristina has experience with large scale festivals, baby showers, school functions, private appointments, bridal mehndi and professional photo shoots. She is familiar with traditional as well as modern styled designs.

Kristina’s homemade henna paste contains all natural ingredients including pure henna powder, lemon juice, essential oils and sugar. I mix my own paste with 100% henna powder, to which I add lemon juice, some tea tree oil, geranium oil (for scent), and sugar as a binder.

All of my designs are done free hand with cones or with Jacquard bottles, I never use stencils or transfers. I am proficient in Indian, Middle Eastern, North African as well as contemporary designs.

Rate: $150/hour with a two hour minimum.

Speed: approximately 20-30 small designs an hour.

Our henna artists will not use black henna at your event.
