Angela McCall discovered henna and loved it so much that she decided to start doing henna on herself. It wasn't long before she was researching henna and learning all she could about the art and how it worked. Thanks to the fantastic information and resources on the internet, she became a self-taught henna artist. Angela takes pride in her art and pays special attention to detail. Knowing that you will be looking at her work for weeks, she takes care to do the best job possible.

Her henna paste is made with 100% natural henna powder, lemon juice, and essential oils. Upon removal of the henna paste, there will be a light orange-tan design in its place. Within 48 hours, the design will darken to a deep rich reddish-brown color. The henna tattoo can last up to 3 weeks. It fades away during that time with your body's natural exfoliation process.

She never uses anything called "black henna". Be aware that anyone using this type of product is using harmful ingredients that are not approved to be used on the skin. In fact, some ingredients in what is called "black henna" can actually burn the skin. Natural henna paste is a dark olive green/brown color when applied and reddish brown on the skin within 48 hours of henna paste removal.

Speed: 10-15 designs per hour, depending on design size and complexity.

Rate: $150/hour with a two hour minimum.
