The Henna Princess - Henna Tattoo Artist

The Henna Princess is originally from St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. She is a full-blooded West Indian woman from her grandmothers side. After a move to Orlando, FL in the spring of 2005 to pursue a fashion degree. She started a position at one of the local theme parks and ironically, "The Henna Shop" was right across the street from the job she worked. During her lunch break one day she could no longer contain her curiosity and decided to see what the henna artists were up to. After getting to know some of the artists and learning some tips from them, she set up an interview with the owner, and from there, the rest is history.

As for her name, a customer nicknamed her "The Henna Princess" and the name stuck. Many days she can still be found at the henna shop and also works at events as an independent henn artist. In addition to henna The Henna Princess is a make-up artist for weddings, competitions, fashion shows, etc; and also does exotic/fantasy body painting and event-based painting.

Serves: Orlando, FL and the surrounding parts of the Florida area. Will travel.

Rate: $150/hour per artist with a 2 hour minimum for events in the Orlando, FL and a 3 hour minimum is require for all events outside of this area.

Speed: 20-35 tattoos per hour, depending on design size and complexity.
