FDR Impersonator
|
Robert is a historical re-enactor and is available to give a speech about Mr. Roosevelt’s life in first person or one of his fire-side talks or other speeches he presented such as the “Day of Infamy Speech” declaring the United States’ entry into World War II. If invited to a city that Mr. Roosevelt visited, Robert will add as much “local” color as possible. He enjoys spicing his talks with humor as FDR might have done and tries to be as historically correct as possible and yet entertaining. If the occasion warrants and time permits, he enjoys dialogue with the audience, especially in small groups or at informal occasions.
Robert appears wearing bilateral long leg braces, like FDR wore and enters the speaking venue walking with cane and the assistance of a strong “left arm man”. Business suit or Black Tie will be worn, as the appearance dictates.
