Since 1975, Eric Henning has performed his award-winning magic on three continents, in two languages, from the streets of Paris to the Festivals of Avignon and Lausanne, from the tropical paradise of Barbados to corporate, social and  private events all over the Baltimore and Washington area.

The Wizard Show

Children want more than tricks, they want to play!Eric Henning's Wizard Show creates a world where the kids themselves do the magic, with a little help from the Wizard.

• Eggs appear from an empty bag, then disappear again!
• Pieces of torn white tissue paper become a 40-foot rainbow!
• A Golden Key becomes malleable, changes and then becomes solid again - in plain sight!
• A handkerchief comes alive and jumps around the room!

The show is designed with lots of visual excitement and audience participation, and children ages 6-10 have given the show their enthusiastic recommendation! (Don't be surprised if the Adults are delighted and mystified, too!)The story line is that Prof. Henning is the Examiner from the School for Wizards, visiting to find out whether the children have sufficient magical potential to qualify for Early Admission (and perhaps their own Wand). For birthdays, the Birthday Child does some of the magic, with the final sequence ending in a colorful finale and a perfect photo opportunity!

• Children's party rate only applies if there are fewer than 20 guests in attendance and the show is geared specifically to small children.

Adult Party -- $450 for a 45 min show. This is great for family gatherings.

Banquet Show--Starts at $700.00, pricing depends on the size of the audience and expected performance time.

The Banquet Show
For corporations, non-profits and wedding receptions where light after-dinner entertainment is appropriate, Eric does from 15-45 minutes of platform magic. In the old days, magicians promoted giant box tricks to fill the seats, but what people remember with fondness are the moments in front of the curtain the "small magic" that took place relying on the performer's personality and rapport with the audience. It is this magic that Eric re-creates, using sleight of hand, timing and wit to charm audiences and make any event sparkle. From handkerchiefs that change color to borrowed rings that reappear in impossible places under impossible conditions, Eric will amaze, amuse and astound your group. The Banquet Show uses lots of audience participation, with every volunteer treated with the utmost courtesy and respect, sometimes doing the magic better than Eric does! The program is very flexible, and can play anywhere indoors from a full stage or a dance floor. If you do not have a P.A. system, we can provide one for a small additional fee.

$190 per hour, with a 2 hour minimum
