An enthusiastic and animated entertainer, Tim Kottcamp has always had a passion for magic, thrilling audiences of all ages for the last fifteen years. Featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer Magazine, Tim has performed amazing close-up and stage magic in numerous venues in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland, including restaurants, schools, libraries, community centers, parks, and convalescent homes. In addition to public appearances, he has provided sensational entertainment for private special events, including corporate functions, holiday gatherings and birthday parties for both children and adults.

TRICKS IN MOTION, THE SHOW

Tim continues the magical journey of illusion in the Washington DC metro area, with shows that are visually exciting and fun, performing strolling, close-up, and stage show-magic which feature:

• Comic bi-play with magician’s assistant

ART OF MAGIC WORKSHOP

Tim Kottcamp brings years of elementary school teaching experience to his Art of Magic workshop for children and teenagers offering presentation skills, developing self-esteem, and inspiring many would-be magicians. Tim has provided this fantastic workshop as part of school and summer camp programs, showing young people how to create their own brand of magic with professionally designed illusions. This show may also be adapted for seniors, offering hand-eye coordination practice and the opportunity to handle and care for small animals.

The Art of Magic workshop may be provided and tailored as a single class or a series of classes.

Serves: Annapolis, Baltimore, Potomac, Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Columbia, MD; Leesburg, Reston, Dale City, Alexandria, Fairfax, and Arlington, VA; and Washington, DC areas. Will travel!

Strolling Magic: $115/hr for multiple hour events. - Strolling magic can be tailored to fit most venues. The magic is visual, deceptive and interactive using coins, cards, rope, and other everyday objects. Tim engages on-lookers with both serious and comedy magic that has been proven to entertain all ages. Tim dresses in professional magician attire that is appropriate, fun and recognizable.

Adult Magic Shows: $280 for an adult show."Sit-down" shows are designed to have visual, comical, and interactive magic with small animal production. Also, Tim produces a gift for the child in a magical way and have prizes for the others (for children's party only). Balloon animals can be included as well (for children's party only). The show lasts 45 minutes to an hour. Tim needs about 45 minutes to set up.

Birthday Show Rate: $280.00 - Birthday shows are 45 minutes to 1 hour in length and are tailored according to age, 4 years old is the minimum age for the magic shows. Shows include lots of visual, comical, musical, and interactive magic with small animal production! A gift for the birthday child and other treats are given to party participants in a magical way. A quality and fun “How To Do Magic” session and balloon animals can be provided upon request. Finally, magic shows are intended to be exciting for the whole family!
