Langer - Magician

Born in the rural country side of the land of Lincoln
where the rolling cornfields collide with the Illinois
sunsets, Langer saw his first magic show at the age
of three. However, it was not until he was seven
years of age that he got his first abracadabra magic set. With the, harmless in appearance, magic wand that came in the set, he accidentally turned his sister’s hair red. Interestingly enough her hair is still red to this day. As for his balding father, he can not take the blame for that one.

When George Carlin spoke to him in a daydream preceding a 4th grade performance of “Happy Penguins in the Arctic,” Langer knew vaudeville resonated in the blood of his young veins. He also knew
that it was the 1980s and he had a lot to get through before his
professional career could take off.

After surviving a neurotic fear of killer bees, two stints in the
kindergarten, a bad overbite, and a myriad of embarrassing haircuts he graduated from the 12th grade.

While in college he met his performing partner, another eccentric farm boy from a near by land of his own. Langer then took the next five years to really hone his craft with his performing partner. The duo could often be seen performing locally during the school year and as far as the circuses of the east coast and the French Quarters of New Orleans in the summer time. They both credit much of their knowledge from their professional training at Clown Camp.
