Calligraphy

Our calligraphy instructor does a two hour class and brings supplies for everyone, which they can take home with them.  She describes several lettering styles, then gives instruction on the basics of one style.  She does a demonstration, then lets the students have at it.  She does some one on one with each student while they are learning and practicing.  Then, to finish, they do a final project that involves their name (or that of their child's, or mother's, etc).  This can also be geared to suit your specific event or holiday, with a Valentines Day or Christmas Theme, for instance.

Serves:  Maryland, Washington, DC and Northern VA.  Will travel.

Rate:  $150/hour.  There is a per student supplies fee of $5.
